Hey everyone, it's christmas time and it's also time to say good bye to two originals I did this year. They are huge, they're lovely and they're not doing much at our studio but catching dust. So, I figured there must be someone out there, who'd have more fun owning them than I do. The pieces themselves are gigantic, possibly the largest pencil drawings I made to date. Each of them is over 5 feet wide, and part of a series of Posters I did for Marvel this year. Some of you might have seen the final digital paintings that used these drawings as a base . I'd love for somebody to own them, who's going to treat them nicely and keep em for a few years. That's why I thought auctioning them off might be the best way for them to find an owner whose going to take care of them. No starting bid on these, just shipping costs.

First of all thanks all of you guys out there for your tremendous feedback and taking part on our contest. It was incredibly difficult to choose a winner but we think one guy deserve it really. So we are pleased to announce that the first prize of our POSTER CONTEST is awarded to Mr Prabhu K from India. He did just an amazing job by tagging the posters all over Bangalore. See the pictures attached and get an impression of his fucking good job:) Also we are proud to announce that the second prize goes to Daniel Lorentsen from Sweden. At the Studio & the sun is smiling for the first time these days. Seems like the Black Frog brought it in as his entourage. Most of the art for the new show arrived fresh off the printer, and small handpainted frames wait to filled with Igor's drawings. Just a few more hammerswings and we're ready for the opening on Friday. Join, join, join us...it's gonna be loads of fun.

DRAW OR DIE: CONTEST

We're hitting the streets of Berlin hard with our "DRAW OR DIE" movie posters. They're starting to pop up everywhere around the city this week, but we need your help to get the movie the exposure it deserves. So we decided to start the "DRAW OR DIE" CONTEST and give you the chance to help us spread the word about the movie. To participate in the Contest, just download the high resolution movie poster file and print it out on posters, flyers or newsprint and spread it in your home city, in cafe's, bars, your school/university or any other place you frequent.

This Contest is open to anybody who loves the movie and who's willing to help us. Once you're done with your guerilla bombing, don't forget to make photos and send them to us by OCTOBER 1st 2010!

The 5 winners will be showcased on our Blog and Facebook sites, but more than that, they'll also be rewarded with a host of prizes from SIXMOREVODKA.

Winning is easy! Just be the guy or girl who spreads the posters the furthest, or comes up with the most creative idea of showcasing them around your home city. RISE EXHIBITION

SIXMOREVODKA is proud to announce that the outstanding young artists Jana Schirmer and Alex Pascenko are joining our little art family and Studio in Berlin.
Both will fill positions as Concept artists at our company and lend their skillful hands to the multitude of projects we're currently working on. They've already been part of our production pipeline for the past month and we couldn't be happier to work with such amazing talent. Both are expanding our field of expertise with their creativity and adding new layers of pure edge to our base. Berlin is turning hot this fall.

RISE - NEW EXHIBITION BY MARKO DJURDJEVIC

Marko Djurdjevic, berlin based cover artist for MARVEL COMICS, celebrates what's been 4 years in the making. Plenty of his cover artwork will be exhibited for the first time on large scale at gallery BOX 32 in Berlin. Join us for this one time event in cooperation with SIXMOREVODKA on August 27th, at 7:00 pm!


Over the past 4 years, Marko Djurdjevic has become one of the major powerhouses of cover creation on the American Comic Market. Within a short period of time, Marko painted over 250 covers for every major series of MARVEL COMICS, introducing his unique design sensibilities and his modern storytelling skills to a medium of tradition. The RISE exhibition will feature a Best of, showcasing the most successful pieces as oversized prints for the first time in public.
Hailing from a background in Conceptart and classical Illustration, now merging his pencil techniques with digital painting, Marko Djurdjevic is one of the driving creative forces in the field of comic and entertainment design today. After spending a good chunk of his career in San Francisco, working at the esteemed Conceptart outsourcing studio Massive Black, he's now back in Berlin, from where he's juggling his operations across the globe.

Meet Marko Djurdjevic on the night of the opening reception at BOX 32, on August 27th, at 7:00 pm, for talks, drinks and DJ Delphonic joining us for music.
