Yes, F.U.F's is back!

We know we know, "Finally" right?!

Perhaps sadly, eff'd up things happen here every(damn)day. However, deciphering between the rated R stuff i.e "things we can show you" and our usual NC17 sh*t, is tough man!

Well, no time like the present to start dropping truth bombs: Without a pen in his hand, Marko has the attention span of a child, on crack! There, we said it.

It's not like he can't focus (perse), it's just that when we attempt to have him sit down for more than 8 seconds without flashing pictures in front of his face, this is what happens.

But give him a break. It's not like he's a hostage negotiator. Focus is not always of the greatest...what were we saying? Right! Anyway, here what "Focused Marko" looks like...

JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE

Hey Guys,

Many of you have asked us how we do, what we do. We always try to come up with answers that make us sound "professional" but the truth is... we're kinda not sure.

Today however, thanks to our dear friends at Metal Hammer, we finally have some answers for you (...and ourselves for that matter).

Remember waaaay back when we posted about the kick-ass Slipknot-Metal Hammer collabo we did? Well, here's the "making of" video for you which pretty much sums up how we do it.

NIKE "AIR DJURDJEVIC"

Meetings are boring. Especially ones on the phone when there's really nothing to do but listen (...we hate listening!). Normally, when we're stuck in these kind of situations, we do everything we can to keep ourselves entertained: sketch, draw, doodle, throw stuff at each other etc. etc.

But what happens when Emily leave's her new pair of (crispy white) shoes in the conference room around Marko and bunch of permanent markers? The "AIR DJURDJEVIC" is born. 


After the initial shock of her brand new shoes being "tainted" by Marko, Emily (...finally put the knife down), took a breath and forced him to at least, finish them off. Here's the final result....

FUCKED UP FRIDAYS

After being inspired by Albert Lamorisse's absolutely beautiful 1956 masterpiece, "Le Balon Rouge" ("The Red Balloon"), we decided to be French for a day (OYO became a German just for balance) and make friends with some cool ass balloons in hopes that they too, would have a spirit of their own and take us on wonderful adventures of true friendship throughout the city.

However, after a few hours of trying everything to engage those jerks (...apparently, they don't speak English, German or French!) we realized that these balloons didn't have a spirit of their own at all!! They simply acted like "diva" balloons doing nothing but floating and being carried around all day. 


We then realized (thank you internet!) that it takes roughly 5,928- 6,558 balloons to actually lift a human being into the sky and we gave up. Still going to blame it on us just finding idiot balloons though.


"Le Ballon Rouge" belongs to Lamorisse. However, "Le Ballon Rogue" belongs to SMV...

STOLEN (UNPUBLISHED) SKETCHES

For some reason (still unknown to man), these f%#$in' awesome sketches were never used. Mind boggling we know. But all the better for us, and ya'll anyway that we get to share them here.

Thank you Ville for your "Knight Scribble" ("Scribble" he says! ... you bastard) and Marko for banging out these seriously BADASS Captain America sketches.

WORKSHOP SF 2012

FINALLY!!!

In conjunction with The Academy of Art University, The Safehouse Atelier and Steambot Studios, SIXMOREVODKA will be co-hosting another wonderful workshop with our dear friends at Massive Black.

Taking place in the beautiful San Francisco, CA between August 9th - August 12th, this is your best chance to (finally) get all of your favourite faces in one room: Ask them questions, learn a TON, have loads of fun and party until you forget your own name.

The entire SMV team will be there and we look forward to meeting you all in person!

STOLEN SKETCHES Part. MCMXXII

A while back, we once reveled in a prosperous life of crime. Stealing sketches left, right and centre, underneath the noses of our very talented (yet obviously naive) artists. We started to feel bad (*cough!...got bored) about this and so slipped silently away, un-apprehended.

Well, like all good thieves (and possibly serial killers too), we also got bored of getting away with everything so easily. So we're back! And enjoying the rush that only this life of crime can bring.

...catch us if you can! (*insert evil laugh here*)

ASTONISHING X-MEN "GAY MARRIAGE" COVER #51

This week saw history in the making and the SMV studio at the heart of it all. For the first time in the history of MARVEL comics, Astonishing X-Men Cover #51 revealed the same-sex Marriage between Northstar and Kyle on their cover, which happened to be designed by our very own Marko Djurdjevic.

There is a lot of debate in America at the moment surrounding the rights (or lack there of) for same-sex couples to be married or not. So naturally, the press is going to be big and controversial with this. Rolling Stone Magazine lead the charge with the exclusive premier.

Just so we're clear:
SMV takes the firm and proud stance that if two people love each other (and want to willingly go through the hell of "marriage"), more power to them.

So whether that couple is a "He&He" or a "She&She" or a "She&He and a He&She", unless you want perfect strangers to start judging whether you can legally marry the one you hold dear, why don't you just FUCK OFF,  mind your own marriages and just let people be.

We're very proud of Marvel comics for going ahead with the romantic cover, Marko for capturing this moment as only he can, and we're proud to leave our two cents on this issues.

Congrats to the happy couple, here's hoping we get to do the cover where they start adopting!

MARKO EXHIBITION

Hey Guys,

Remember a while back (April 19th, 2012 to be exact), we told you about Marko's exhibition at the Museum of European Culture and Ethnology? Well it's happened and it was fucking AWESOME!

We're super happy for our "Patron Saint" of SMV and have never been more proud... well, maybe except for the time that he beat those six, old-school, ex-Navy, German grandmas in a glass-eating contest during Octoberfest. That was also pretty impressive.

If you won't be in Berlin any time soon, check out the photos. But, if you have the chance, go and see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

#1. Child Labour:

What do you expect?! He's half Jelena and half Marko! How long did you think our baby Djurdjevic would need to be proficient with a Cintiq?!?! Oh, and in case you're wondering, it's only "Child Labour" if:

a) He doesn't like the labour. 

b) He doesn't get paid. 

Love (and Chocolate) is payment enough for a child so don't get all "Child Protection Services" on us just because you're mad you didn't think of it first!

#2. Roof-top Madness:

Beer. Vodka. Crazy Friends. A killer view and a baby who can DJ off of an ipad.
